Relaxing Time

Pushing the castle doors open, Minerva stepped into the courtyard and was instantly blinded by the sunlight that was beating down upon her. She closed her dark eyes slightly as she let go of the door and allowed it to close behind her. The sun was amazing, and was shining in all its glory as she walked towards the fountain with one of her many books in her hands.

Today was her day, no lessons and no teachers to nag her about anything…and she was ecstatic about it. She sat down on the edge of the fountain like she usually did, and crossed her naturally tanned legs. As she leaned against the pillar, she opened her book gently and began to read it slowly, a constant smile upon her face.

As Minerva got further into her book, her black hair started to get extremely hot, so she shifted slightly so she was laying on the edge of the fountain with her back against the pillar. She was happy now that her head was covered from the heat due to the pillar, and carried on reading as she lay on the sill and read peacefully. The peace was just what she needed, and because it was her relaxing day she wouldn’t have minded anyone interrupting her for a while….as long as it was a nice visit of course.
